Theme of Courage in To Kill a Mockingbird, by Harper Lee Essay

Throughout To massacre a Mockingbird, courage is seen as a major theme. Not unaccompanied in Atticus fight for the freedom of Tom Robinson, scarce also in Mrs. Duboses fight to die free of her morphine addiction. Atticus proves that courage is a moral act by taking on Tom Robinson?s case. Atticus is intelligent enough to know the battle is already lost, but still he remains the man he says he is, and fights anyway. He fights to the best of his ability, and fights to the end.
